Brand Kit: Colors, Fonts, Logo and Voice
Set up your FoxCue brand kit: import suggestions from a website or image, review them, then approve colors, fonts, logo, voice, audience and product facts.
The brand kit gives every FoxCue video a shared visual identity and gives the AI writer your approved messaging and product facts. Open Brands & Products, choose a brand, then open the Brand Kit tab.
Imports only suggest values. Nothing reaches your content until you click Save Brand Kit, which approves the kit.

Import suggestions
Click Import suggestions, then choose one:
- A public website: suggests colors, font names, visible product text and logo candidates.
- An image (PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB and 4096 × 4096 px): samples visible colors and adds the image as a logo. An image can't tell FoxCue your fonts, audience, voice or product facts.
Review before applying
In Review Before Applying, check the preview, warnings and source text. Then choose:
- Apply to Draft: copies the suggestions into your editable draft. Your approved kit doesn't change yet.
- Use Logo Only: keeps just the logo.
- Discard Candidate: throws the suggestions away.
Edit the draft
Adjust any section (see the table below).
Save Brand Kit
Click Save Brand Kit to approve it. From now on, new content uses the approved kit.
Brand kit sections
| Section | Fields |
|---|---|
| Visual Identity | Palette (colors), Title font, Body font, Logo |
| Voice and Wording | Voice, audience, positioning, product facts, preferred and avoided wording |
| Business context | A link to Open Business Model, the product map built from your sources |
| Sources | The sources this brand draws on |
The first time you set up a kit for a brand that already has a logo, choose whether to keep it, import a replacement or remove it.
Where the brand kit is used
- Scripts: the approved voice and product facts reach short and long scripts, and companion slide, article and storyboard prompts. Colors and voice alone don't count as facts. Scripts still need sources or product facts to cite.
- Slides and renders: approved colors, font families and logo are used in slide previews, presentations and rendered videos. The default slide theme is Brand kit.
- Writing skills can use brand variables such as
{{brand.name}}and{{brand.voice}}. See Writing skills.
Changing a saved kit updates later slide previews. Videos you've already exported keep their original look.
Limits
- PNG, JPEG and WebP logos only. SVG and ICO aren't supported.
- Font names are stored, but font files aren't uploaded or embedded. Unavailable fonts fall back to a readable font.
- Website import reads public HTML and CSS without running the site's JavaScript. Some sites can't be read or block access. Set the kit up by hand or upload an image instead.
- Scanning is a suggestion step, not a fact checker. Review website claims before you approve them.
Troubleshooting
- "This changed in another session." Someone else saved the kit while you were editing. Your draft is kept. Reload to see the approved version.
- I can't leave the page. FoxCue protects unsaved brand kit changes. Save or discard first.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a brand kit to make videos?
No, but scripts and slides look and sound generic without one. Even a minimal kit with a logo, two colors and a voice line helps.
Can FoxCue pull my brand colors from my website automatically?
Yes. Import suggestions from your website proposes a palette, font names and logo. You review them and save to approve.
