Enter your website URL and FoxCue reads it for brand details, offerings and business context, imports logos and screenshots, and keeps pages as Sources.
Build from Website reads your website for brand details, offerings and business context, and drafts a brand kit for you to review. The pages it reads stay connected as Sources, so scripts can cite them.
Build a brand from your website
Start the import
Click Build from Website on Brands & Products, on a brand's page, or choose Add Website on Getting Started.
Enter your Website URL
Type your site's address, for example https://www.example.com.
Choose images to import
Under Images to import, choose any of Logo, Product screenshots and Diagrams. Imported images go to Brand Assets.
Let it run
FoxCue shows Reading your website…. You can add documents or start your script while it runs.
Review and approve the brand kit
Imported values are only suggestions. Open the Brand Kit tab, review the draft and click Save Brand Kit to approve it. See Brand kit.
What you'll see

| Website import needs review / Import needs attention | Some pages were checked, but the import didn't finish cleanly. Review the connection or continue with your own notes. |
Click View Connection to see the pages and the connection settings.
Troubleshooting
- "We couldn't read this website." The site may block crawlers or load its content only with JavaScript. Review the connection, or add a document to continue.
- "The website crawler is currently unavailable." The crawler service isn't running on your FoxCue server. Try again later, or contact your administrator.
- My logo wasn't found. SVG and ICO logos aren't supported. Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo in the brand kit instead.
- Fonts look different. FoxCue records font names but doesn't embed font files.
Frequently asked questions
Does Build from Website crawl my whole site?
It reads public HTML pages from the URL you give and keeps them as a website source connection. Pages behind a login, PDFs and DOCX files aren't read. Add your docs or sitemap as separate sources for fuller coverage.
Will it overwrite my approved brand kit?
No. Imports create a draft candidate. Nothing changes until you review and save.
