What is FoxCue?
FoxCue turns help docs into videos: a docs-to-video workspace for B2B software that writes cited scripts from your docs, then records, narrates and edits.
FoxCue is a docs-to-video workspace for B2B software teams: it helps you turn help docs into videos. You give it your website, help docs and sitemaps, and it helps you plan videos, write scripts cited to those sources, record or narrate them, and edit them into finished videos you can download or share.
It's built for teams who want their documentation to become product videos (how-tos, walkthroughs and comparisons) without starting every script from a blank page. For the bigger picture, see docs to video and answer videos on foxcue.com.

What makes FoxCue different
- Every claim is cited to your sources. Sources keep exact revisions and passages, so a script's evidence points back to the page it came from. Citations show where a claim came from. They don't fact-check it, so review scripts before you publish.
- Your approved brand kit feeds every prompt. Imports only suggest values. A person approves the kit.
- Budget-capped AI writing. Each script job has a cost ceiling and a cost receipt. See Script costs.
- Record or narrate. Record yourself with the studio recorder, or turn slides into a narrated video.
- Agent-ready. A scoped REST API with OpenAPI, and a local MCP server.
What FoxCue doesn't do (yet)
FoxCue doesn't publish to YouTube, TikTok or Instagram from the app. It doesn't crawl PDFs, DOCX files or help centers behind a login. Share pages are private links and aren't indexed by search engines. Editing is a set of AI passes that you start and approve, not a single fully automatic edit.
Frequently asked questions
What is FoxCue used for?
FoxCue turns software documentation and website content into product videos. It plans video ideas from your content and search data, writes cited scripts, and helps you record, narrate, edit and share the result.
Do I need to record myself?
No. You can record with the camera and teleprompter, upload an existing recording, or generate a narrated slide video from a script.
Does FoxCue invent facts?
Scripts are written from your approved brand facts and selected source passages, and each claim is cited. Citations show where a claim came from, not whether it's true, so review every script before you publish.
