Upload a Screen Recording or Video to Edit
Upload an MP4, WebM or MOV up to 500 MB to FoxCue Video Projects, then choose an editing style for an automatic edit or open it in the manual editor.
To edit a recording you already have, open Create → Video Projects, click Create Video, then Upload Video. Choose an MP4, WebM or MOV file up to 500 MB, then pick an editing style. Your original stays available in the Library.
Upload a video
Choose Upload Video
From Video Projects → Create Video, or Upload Video on Getting Started.
Pick the file
Under Video File, choose an MP4, WebM or MOV up to 500 MB.
Choose Editing Style
Click Choose Editing Style. See Automatic edit with editing styles. Or choose Edit Manually to open the editor directly.
You can also upload product walkthroughs to Library → Product Recordings to reuse them later. There, add What Does It Show? (for example, Dispatch board: choosing a technician and confirming the visit) so the clip is easier to find.
Limits
- File types: MP4, WebM, MOV.
- Up to 500 MB per upload.
- Automatic edits support recordings up to 20 minutes.
Troubleshooting
- "Choose a video smaller than 500 MB." Compress the file, or trim it first.
- "Choose a recording of 20 minutes or less." Split long recordings, or use the manual editor.
- "This recording has no audio track." Automatic edits need narration. Edit manually, or add a recording with narration.
