Record Over Slides with a Teleprompter

Record over your FoxCue slide deck with a camera bubble, speaker-notes teleprompter, 3-2-1 countdown, markers and keyboard shortcuts for every control.

The slide recorder records you presenting a slide deck, with your camera in a bubble and your speaker notes in a teleprompter. Open a script's Slides tab and click Record Video. It has a 3-2-1 countdown and keyboard shortcuts for every control.

For camera-first recordings with layouts, background blur and voice tracking, use the studio recorder instead.

Record over your slides

Generate slides

Create a deck first. See Slides. The teleprompter reads each slide's Speaker Notes. A No Script badge means a slide has no notes.

Open the recorder

In the Slides tab, click Record Video.

Set up camera and teleprompter

Open settings to choose your camera, bubble shape and size, and the teleprompter layout (see below).

Record

Press R (or click record). A 3-2-1 countdown runs, then recording starts. Move through slides with ← and →.

Stop

Press R again. You'll see Recording finished: Saved to versions. Transcript is generating in the background. Choose Download, Share or Discard.

Frequently asked questions

Studio recorder or slide recorder: which should I use?

Use the slide recorder to present a deck with speaker notes, keyboard shortcuts and a countdown. Use the studio recorder for talking-head, screen and mixed layouts, background effects, voice-tracked teleprompter and cues.

Where does my slide recording go?

It's saved to the script's versions, and a transcript is generated in the background. Find it in the script's Video tab and in Outputs.
