The tools
| Tool | What it does | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Make a Short | Turns a long landscape video into a 9:16 hook reel: three or four moments, cut on whole sentences, with intro and end cards | An editable Short project, then an MP4 |
| Cut a video | Tightens a recording: trims dead air, removes filler words and earlier re-takes, keeps the pauses that matter | A new MP4 |
| Cut out the presenter | Removes the background around the person and saves a transparent overlay | A transparent WebM |
How every tool works
Choose video
Pick from Media Library or Rendered Videos, or Upload a Video (MP4, WebM or MOV). A rendered video is copied into the library when you use it.
Review the plan
Set the tool's few options, then click Review the Plan. FoxCue transcribes the words and plans the edit. This takes about a minute, longer the first time a video is transcribed. Review everything before anything is changed.
Result
Approve to run the tool. Then Download, Continue Editing, Make a Short from This or Start Over with Another Video.
If planning fails, click Try Again. If the run fails, click Back to the Plan.
