Share a Video with a Link (No Sign-In Needed)
Create a private share link for a finished FoxCue video. Anyone with the link can watch and download it without signing in. Turn it off at any time.
To share a finished video, click Share on it and choose Create Share Link. Anyone with the link can watch and download the video without signing in. You can turn the link off at any time.
Create a share link
Open Share video
Click Share on a finished video: in the recorder after Video ready, in a script's Video tab, or in Outputs.
Create Share Link
Click Create Share Link. Opening the dialog doesn't publish anything. The link is only created when you click.
Copy and send
Click Copy video link (Link copied) and send it, or click Open video to preview the watch page.
Turn off a link
Click Turn Off Link. FoxCue asks Turn off this link? Anyone with the current link loses access. You can create a new link later, and it gets a new address.
Turning off a link stops future views. It can't recall copies someone already downloaded.
How share links work
- Each link is a long random address that can't be guessed.
- Share pages aren't indexed by search engines and aren't cached.
- One video has one active link at a time.
- If the video is removed, trashed or re-exported, the old link stops working.
Troubleshooting
- "This link points to your local server." Your FoxCue app is running on a single computer, so the link only works there. To share it with others, FoxCue must run at a public address. Ask your administrator.
- The link shows unavailable. The video was removed or changed, or the link was turned off. Create a new link.
Frequently asked questions

Is the share page public on Google?
