Add Team Members and Switch Workspaces

Add teammates to your FoxCue workspace with a temporary password, choose Owner or Member roles, and switch between workspaces from the account menu.

To add a teammate in FoxCue, open the account menu, choose Team members, and add their email, an optional name, a role and a temporary password. Workspaces have two roles: Owner and Member.

Roles

RoleCan do
OwnerEverything a member can do, plus: add and remove team members and change roles; create and revoke API keys; connect YouTube and Google; set up AI and research provider keys; configure model spending for silo suggestions; clean up imported sources; see owner-only cost details
MemberWork with the workspace's brands, sources, plans, scripts, recordings, video projects, Library and outputs

FoxCue checks these rules on the server, so a member can't get around them through the API.

Add a team member

Open Team members

Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then Team members.

Enter their details

Add their Email, an optional Name, a Role and a Temporary Password.

Share the sign-in details

Send your teammate the temporary password through a private channel. Ask them to change it in Settings → Account → Change Password after their first sign-in.

Change a role

Only an owner can change roles. A workspace always keeps at least one owner, so you can't demote the last owner.

Switch workspaces

If you belong to more than one workspace, open the account menu and choose Switch Workspace. Save or discard your current work first. Your name and profile picture are shared across all your workspaces.

Frequently asked questions

Does FoxCue send an invite email?

No. You add the teammate directly with a temporary password and share it with them yourself.

What if they already have a FoxCue account?

FoxCue adds their existing account to your workspace. Their current password stays the same, and the temporary password you entered isn't used.

What happens to API keys when someone is removed?

Removing an owner, or resetting their sign-in credentials, also invalidates the API keys they created.
