Fork, Edit and Upload Templates and Skills
Every FoxCue template, format, block and skill is a package. Fork a built-in one, edit its files in the browser, or upload your own for the whole workspace.
Every template, format, block, check and skill in the FoxCue Library is a package of files. Built-in packages are read-only. Fork one to make your own copy, edit its files in the browser, or upload your own packages.
Fork and edit a package
- Open a built-in package and click Fork to edit (or Fork a copy). Your copy is ready to edit.
- In Files, use the file tree: New File Here, New Folder Here, Rename, Delete File, Delete Folder. Files can be Markdown (
.md), JSON (.json) or HTML layouts (.html). - Edit Markdown with the formatting toolbar (Write, Source and Preview views). HTML layouts listed in the package show a live Layout preview.
- Changes save as you type. Press ⌘S / Ctrl+S to save now.
The status shows Saving…, Saved, Unsaved or Conflict. If the package changed since you opened it, choose Discard Mine and Reload, or overwrite the newer revision.
