Video Claims API: Preview, Confirm and Poll
Copy an existing FoxCue video into the connected workspace with a one-use claim: preview, confirm, then poll. No new provider generation or subscription.
A video claim copies an existing editable video and its finished output into the workspace that confirms the code. It does not generate a new video, create an account, or start a subscription. GET /api/v1/capabilities reports video_claims with confirmation_required: true and the Idempotency-Key header.
Claims are one-use. Preview does not consume the code. Confirm does.
The live capabilities document lists the profiles legacy and workflow for claims, and says provider generation and subscription creation are off. If claims are not configured on the server, these routes will not complete a copy. Treat that as unavailable, not as a queued success.
Calls
| Method | Path | Scope | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
POST | /video-claims/preview | outputs:read | Preview the claim for the connected workspace without consuming the code |
POST | /video-claims | media:write | Confirm and queue the copy. Body includes the code, confirm: true, and an Idempotency-Key |
GET | /video-claims/{id} | outputs:read | Read progress and the copied video links |
Send the same Idempotency-Key if a confirm request times out. The public API guide at GET /api/v1/docs describes this sequence.
