MCP Brand Setup, Transcripts and Keywords

What the hosted FoxCue MCP directory profile can change on a brand: kit fields, offerings, websites, silos, transcripts and keyword runs. Reconnect to grant brands:write.

GET /api/v1/capabilities reports mcp_brand_setup for the hosted directory profile. The public API guide says that profile includes brand setup tools and that they need brands:write. The exact tool names and fields are the list your client shows after you connect. This page is the work those tools are allowed to do, traced to the live API, not a second invented catalogue.

Reconnect under OAuth permissions if the grant was approved before brands:write and performance:write were requested.

The API behind brand setup:

  • PATCH /projects/{id} for the name, domain and description.
  • PATCH /projects/{id}/brand-kit with expected_revision and either kit or changes. A stale revision returns 409. This saves the kit. It is not a separate approve call.
  • POST /projects/{id}/brand-kit/import-logo from a public image URL, or import-image for a PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2 MiB, then set changes.logo_asset_id.
  • Offerings and calls to action: the usual create, read, update and delete routes, plus POST /ctas/{id}/default.

Automated browser capture can be off. The app then says to upload the logo yourself and edit colors and fonts in the brand kit.

Website, silo and topic

  • POST /knowledge-hub/connections with kind website or documentation, and optional include and exclude paths. Poll GET /knowledge-hub/connection-runs/{id}.
  • POST /strategy/silos, PATCH /strategy/silos/{id}, POST /strategy/topics.

In the app, websites are managed on the brand (see Connect a website) and silos are plans you open from Ideas or Brand.

Transcripts

POST /knowledge-hub/transcripts imports an original internal call. Indexing and a separate de-identified public learning are their own calls (/index and /public-learnings). Customer calls stay internal until someone approves a learning. The same upload exists in Sources.

Keyword runs

POST /strategy/silos/{siloId}/keyword-runs starts discover, enrich or refresh. budget_usd defaults to $1 for discover or refresh and $0.50 for enrich, and the maximum is $10. The body needs idempotency_key. One active run per silo. Poll GET /strategy/keyword-runs/{runId} (spent_usd is what the provider reported). Then read /keywords, put /keyword-targets, or post a group to /opportunity.

The call also requires strategy:read and generation:write. It can spend money up to the budget you set.

Pixabay

Stock search in the editor is labeled Stock media · Pixabay. It is offered only when the server has a Pixabay key. The editor shows "Checking stock media availability…" and hides results when that key is not configured. That search is an editor feature, not one of the hosted MCP scopes above. If stock search is missing, the server has no Pixabay key configured.
